Made-to-measure desk for a niche and under a window
Measure the niche width in several places and enter the smallest result. You set the desk width from 120 to 180 cm in 1 cm steps, so it fills the niche or a stretch of wall under the window.
Choose a depth of 60 or 70 cm for what sits on the top. A laptop alone needs a shallower top; with a large monitor, leave more room in front of the screen.
Top height and the unit
Top height is 74, 75 or 76 cm. Sit on the chair you use, bend your arms at the elbows and measure from the floor to the elbow. That is a good starting point for choosing the top height.
The unit stands on the left or the right, and you set its width in the configurator. You fill it with two, three or four drawers, a door with shelves, or open shelves you set at the height you want. Drawers run on undermount soft-close runners or on side-mounted ball-bearing runners.
Top, finish and price
You can design the desk in laminate board, lacquered MDF or melamine-faced birch plywood. The top is 25 mm thick and chosen separately, white or in natural oak décor, so it can differ from the carcass colour. Laminate board comes in Kronospan décors that resist scratches and wipe clean, from white to graphite and matt black.
The price grows with the desk width and depends on the finish and on what goes into the unit. You see it live in the configurator and pay exactly that when you add the desk to the cart.
